Tears.

TEARS are generally the outward expression of grief, sorrow, remorse or pain. They are not unmanly, for “Jesus wept.” I believe that tears keep the heart tender and draw the soul near to God. I do not advise people to be forever sighing and crying over their misfortunes; but I do say, let the tear of love and the tear for sin freely flow. Water the garden of your heart with tears and the harvest will be eternal life.
The cause of human woe will soon be removed, sorrow and sighing forever done away, “all tears wiped from off all faces,” and joy become the portion of the redeemed forever.
