Obituary Notice.

“I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death.” Hosea 13:14.
DIED at Visalia, Cal., Nov. 30, Sister Sarah L. White, in the seventieth year of her age. Sr. White was a native of South Carolina, but had resided in California about a year. She was raised in the Methodist church of which she was an esteemed member until she embraced present truth, when the tent was in Visalia last June and July, and she has been, since that time, an earnest observer of the Sabbath.
In the death of Sister White the little company in Visalia have been deprived of the society of one faithful member.
J. N. LOUGHBOROUGH.
DIED in Santa Rosa, Cal., Nov. 24, 1876, Mattie Skinner, daughter-in-law of Sr. Lavina Skinner, aged 24 years and 5 months. Though Mattie has left us we trust she may come forth in the first resurrection.
Dearest Mattie, thou hast left us, Here thy loss we deeply feel; But 'tis God that hath bereft us, He can all our sorrows heal. Yet again we hope to meet thee, When in the vale of tears is o'er; Then in Heaven with joy to greet thee, May we meet to part no more.
M. SKINNER.
