North Pacific Mission.

THE work in this mission is moving slowly on. Our last quarterly meeting was a success in some respects. The meeting was well attended by the friends of the cause, and there was an interest manifested, more or less, by all. Four were baptized and six received into the church.
The principal business done was to organize a T. and M. Society. This is a good field for such a society to work, and much good can be done by them if they will work.
The cause here demands more labor to place it in a condition to sustain itself, and we have concluded to remain with them till spring.
The T. and M. society will need to be set in working order, and we hope to organize two churches, one at Dayton, and one at Milton. When this is done they can be left to carry on the work alone. We hope and pray that the Lord may direct in all efforts to advance his cause.
