“I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death.” Hosea 13:14.
DIED, in Woodland, Yolo county, Cal., Oct. 31, 1875, of inflammation of the spinal marrow, sister Amy E. Schneider, aged nineteen years and four months. Sister Schneider was converted in the winter of 1872–3, and united with the S. D. A. church the following spring, of which church she remained a consistent member until her death. She leaves a husband, a father, mother, and several brothers and sisters, besides a large circle of friends to mourn her loss, yet they sorrow not as those without hope. Funeral services were held in the church, where the writer spoke from Job 14:14, to a large and attentive audience.
