God Remembers Our Needs

By Anna Temple

In ignorance I thought, In silly fear and foolishness and dread, God doth remember all the sins I wrought, And doth forget how needy is my lot. But, lo, instead, When I his message read, I found it was my needs on which he thought, My sins that he, because of Christ, forgot! —Anna Temple.
