Codfish Dyed to Resemble Salmon

INSPECTORS of the Health department of New York City recently discovered a codfish dyeing industry in full blast under the arches of Brooklyn Bridge. They dyed the codfish to the color of good red salmon, and increased the price from ten cents a cod to forty cents and more for salmon.
