A Refuge in Trouble

“MAN is born unto trouble,” but there is a refuge. God is “a very present help in trouble.” The soul that is at rest may sing even in affliction, for “underneath are the everlasting arms.” It is sweet to know that if we give ourselves unreservedly to God, nothing can come into our lives but what is for our good.
When we look at trouble with the eye of faith, it becomes something to uplift and refine rather than something to plunge us into darkness. Eliza H. Morton.
