The Christian and Persecution

Every person living the life of Christ among men, will measurably bring to himself the treatment received by the divine Master. Such must be the inevitable consequence, because “the servant is not above his master.” He said, “If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you.” John 15: 20. The reason is plain. A Christian must be different from people of the world, hence the antagonism. J. O. C.
