Theosophy’s Coming Messiah Claim

In the twenty-seventh annual meeting of the Theosophists in Chicago, they declared that the Theosophists are breeding a new race of world masters, that they are doing it out here in the West, and that they have three young men now undergoing an exalted training, and that one may be designated as the representative of the coming Messiah. There will be many carried away by just such declarations as this. It might be well for them to look back and ask what Theosophy has done for India, where it has had such long experience. A religion that grasps no power outside of the individual is worthless.
