It is worthy of a news note, and to students of prophecy it may mean much more than a new note, that England has proclaimed a protectorate over Egypt—practically annexation—and that she has taken the Persian Gulf, and is now in possession of the lower part of the Euphrates Valley—the old site of Babylon.
