By beholding we become changed. The polar bear, living in the snowy whiteness of the Arctic regions, has become white, like his surroundings. Living for Jesus, looking for Jesus, we become like Him. “We know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.” “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory.”
