Unconfirmed Report of Adrianople Massacre

A story is told of the massacre of 30,000 Christian men, women, and children, in the besieged city of Adrianople, by the Moslems, at the first breaking out of the war. This is based on a letter said to be written to J. J. Besdan, but the news is not confirmed.
