What Are You Doing for Your Friends?

Most of our readers believe the great truths taught by the SIGNS OF THE TIMES. They believe these because they believe the Bible, and believe that the teachings of the SIGNS OF THE TIMES are in harmony with the Word. To thousands this journal has brought the blessed truth of the Gospel. It has gladdened hearts and homes and given many souls brighter, clearer hope than this world can possibly give. It has put new meaning into this life, making it worth the living. It has given new meaning and reality to the life to come.
For the next six months the SIGNS OF THE TIMES will take up some of the definite doctrines for these days. Possibly the better term would be, some different phases of the one doctrine; for the doctrine of the Bible is one. It has, however, its many phases, leading out into all the various complex fields of human life and duty.
Beginning with our next number these great phases of Bible teaching will be fairly covered during the next six months. These will include articles on the Bible; the sacrifice and work of our Lord Jesus Christ; the close of His priestly work at His coming; the prophecies of His Word, and especially those which pertain to our day; man's nature and destiny; modern Spiritualism; religious liberty; the true church of God; the Spirit of God and its gifts; the ministry of angels, etc., etc.
We ask the help of our readers far and near to make this series of articles tell for the salvation of precious souls. Each of our readers has friends, relatives, neighbors, in whose salvation he is interested. How could you do better than to ask them to receive from you for six months the SIGNS OF THE TIMES containing this precious truth, and ask them, even tho they may not believe it, to read it candidly for that time?
We have said little regarding our Home Department, yet we hope to make the Home Department better than ever. We are not prepared at this time to state just what it will contain all the way through the six months; but for immediate numbers, it will have several striking articles on health by a clear-headed practical physician, Dr. Maria L. Edwards, of St. Helena. The price of the series will be as follows:
