The Desire of Ages.

By Mrs. E. G. White.
Those who are best acquainted with the works of this gifted author consider “Desire” the masterpiece of all her writings.
Written in simple, yet beautiful language, it presents the life of our Saviour in such a natural, attractive manner that the reader is irresistibly drawn to the source of all spiritual life, “our elder Brother.”
Beginning with the birth of Christ, His life is traced, step by step, from the manger to the cross and on to His ascension. In every phase and circumstance His experiences were similar to our own; and the wonderful manner in which Divinity and humanity were combined, the way in which Christ, while dwelling in human body, with only human strength, took hold of divine strength, and thus overcame sin; these things are made wonderfully clear on every page and in every sentence.
“The Desire of Ages” will be especially helpful in the study of the new series of lessons on the life of Christ which begins April 1 and continues for twenty-one months in all departments of the Sabbath-school.
It contains nearly 900 pages, and about 300 beautiful illustrations made largely from original drawings by some of the most talented artists. The bindings are handsome and substantial.
