Our Moon

Prof. T. J. See, an astronomer in charge of Mare Island Observatory, California, has a new theory regarding the moon. One statement is that it has no craters. The craters are great indentations caused by the falling of meteors or planetoids, or where the moon was battered about when it was a wanderer. Another is that the moon was never a part of this earth, as the nebular theory teaches, but was a wanderer through space till captured by the earth. Since that it has been held in leash. This demolition of hypotheses on the part of the scientists themselves recalls again a statement made by Professor Larkin of the Mount Lowe Observatory not long ago, that he was certain of only one science, namely, that of mathematics. One may be certain of another, and that is the science of salvation in Jesus Christ. Surely when the men of science do not agree, the Bible ought to have a hearing.
