Christianity

Christianity is not a system of ethics; it is a life, the life of God brought down to men, and made available for every man to cleanse away all past sin, and enable every soul to cease from sin and sinning.
There is no comparison to be made between Christianity and other great religions. They all were and are mere systems of ethics, with human power to fulfil them; Christianity is the life and power of God transmissible to men, transmutable into character in all that believe.
