OUR WORK AND WORKERS.

THE brethren at Rolla, Mo., are planning to build a house of worship.
THE Missouri Conference is supporting seven tent companies this season.
AT the recent quarterly meeting at Olean, N. Y., two members were added to the church.
ON the 14th inst. three candidates were baptized at Keene, Texas, by Brother J. F. Lorenz.
AT the last quarterly meeting of the church in Amery, Wis., four members were added.
THE meeting-house recently purchased by the church in Prentice, Minn., will be dedicated June 26.
MAY 7 four candidates were baptized by Brother F. F. Peterson, and received into the church at La Grand, Wis.
TEN candidates for baptism are the result of labor at Fergus Falls, Minn., by Brethren S. E. Jackson and E. M. Chapman.
SEVEN persons were baptized and admitted to the church in Galesburg, Ill., on the 14th ult. All were young people but one.
TWO young men connected with the Scandinavian Department of Union College were baptized on the 14th ult., and added to the church at College View, Neb.
IN the New York Indicator, Brother S. H. Lane reports the baptism of three Swedish sisters at Jamestown, April 30, and the dedication of a new meeting-house on the day following.
THE Nebraska Reporter says that the brethren at McCook have recently purchased the Methodist church at that place at a cost of $800. They contemplate painting and making some other repairs on the building. The Methodists and Seventh-day Adventists are to use the same church, pending the erection of a new building by the former.
OF the closing of the state meeting at Cleveland, Ohio, Brother D. E. Lindsey says in the Visitor: “Altho most of our Ohio workers had departed to their homes, when Sunday evening came we found a full house—auditorium, vestry, and large gallery. The church choir, assisted by several friends from other churches, rendered ‘The Nazarene,’ a cantata. The occasion was one long to be remembered by the Cleveland church.”
AN interest in the truth at Pagetown, Ohio, started by a brother and sister connected with Emmanuel Missionary College, has developed so far that steps have been taken to purchase and repair a building for a meeting-house. One of those who have identified themselves with this work has been keeping the Lord’s Sabbath for twenty years while holding a ministerial license in the Christian Church. He has not before had opportunity to connect with our people.
THE Review of May 19 contains a list of fifty-one camp-meetings to be held in the United States and Canada during the present season, and even this is not a full list. Three of these are now in the past, and as this paper goes to press three are in progress—one in this city, one in Loup City, Neb., and one in Colfax, Iowa. Others to be held the present month are as follows: Oakley, Kansas, June 9-19; Canton, S. D., June 13-19; Helena, Mont., June 16-26; London, Ont., June 16-26; Crawford, Neb., June 21-27; Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, June 28 to July 10.
THE aggressive work in behalf of the “image,” against which the Third Angel’s Message is set to warn the world (Rev. 14:9-11), is thus noted in the Workers’ Bulletin, of Des Moines, Iowa: “Writing from Burlington, Brother F. M. Corbaley says: ‘The Sunday League of America has one hundred and seventy-five thousand members, and five million adherents, all working to accomplish the end for which the League is set. The general manager, Rev. Edward Thomson, has appointed a meeting to be held at Burlington, June 19, at which time they expect to lay definite plans. “One built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered mortar.” This means much to the people of God. Are we ready for the issue?’”
