MUSINGS

Did you ever study deeply the ways God has chosen to reveal Himself to man? Have you seen His revelation? Moses and Elijah and the disciples saw it on the barren mountain.
You may see expressions of the thoughts of God all around you in the mountains, the trees, the flowers and grasses, and on the great, deep, ever-rolling sea. But, that spiritual, that diviner, that holy of holies, where have you seen this revelation?
Go to some home where a hundred adversities have fallen and enter the little room in which the form of a human being is seen lying upon a humble bed. Approach the couch; a white face is turned toward you, and a thin, white hand is reached out to you.
O, the light of that countenance and the glory in those tender eyes as a feeble voice says, “O God bless you for coming to me, for I am longing to tell some one of the blessedness of the Master.” That is to see the supernatural! That is to see God's revelation and reflection in a human life.
Will you, reader, try to show to all with whom you associate, that you have seen the Master; that you have knowledge of the “flames in the bush;” that you have heard “the voice of Horeb;” that you are one with the risen Christ, and that you are longing to tell of the blessed Master's goodness?
