Preparing for the Battle.

Prof. Carl E. Myers' electrical aerial torpedo, now on exhibition at Madison Square Garden, New York, is a dirigible airship, perfectly controlled by an electrician on the earth. It is thirty-five feet in length, and is designed for use in warfare. It may be sent a long distance, and when the desired position is reached, a torpedo is released to carry destruction wherever it may strike and explode. Fearful indeed will be the last great war. “Every battle of the warrior” will be indeed “with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood.”
