Blood Money from Liquor Licenses

Liquor-license money is “blood money,” and to a great extent it is blood money of the poor. To whatever department of municipal or State expenditure it is applied, it costs much more than the benefit derived can possibly be worth. “Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity!” Hab. 2:12.
