Colombian Revolution Leader Surrenders

GENERAL URIBE-URIBE, the leader of the Colombian revolution, after defeat in battle with the government forces, has surrendered with his men. This is considered the death-blow of the revolution, although the rebels maintain their resistance in the Panama country. Those still in the field are now considering the offer of a 90-day armistice through which it is hoped finally to end the revolution. The currency of the country is in a serious condition, as it now requires from $120 to $130 to equal $1 in gold.
