Things That Do Not Grow Old.—

We will mention just one class, and one of this class—Live periodicals for the class; the Youth’s Instructor as the one of the class. It was fifty years of age, as time goes, August 7, of this current year. It bears years enough in this wonderful age to become for an issue reminiscent, but livingly so. J. N. Loughborough writes the first article on “Fifty,” Uriah Smith and G. W. Amadon, who have stood by its side all these years, write respectively “A Backward Glance,” and “A Sketch of the Editorship of the Youth’s Instructor.” “Personal Reminiscences of the Youth’s Instructor” is contributed by H. E. Simkin. And there are other good things for the present and future. It is a most excellent paper for the young, even the old who are young. Its price is only 75 cents a year. Battle Creek, Mich.
