August Number of the Life Boat
By Editor
The August number of the Life Boat is at hand. Its motto is “Proclaim Liberty to the Captives,” and it does it. “Can the Drunkard Have Hope?” “They Were My Brethren,” “If Any Say That I Have Sinned,” “Must the Child of the Drunkard Accept Its Legacy?” “Gospel Temperance,” “Are You Enlisted?” “The Blood Cure,” and other articles by such writers as John G. Woolley, Margaret Wintringer, Eva Marshall Shontz, Col. H. H. Hadley, J. H. Kellogg, M.D., A. T. Jones, David Paulson, and other rescue workers, are mighty helps to those who wish to be rescued from the slavery of habit. Have you friends or acquaintances who are enslaved by habit?—See that they have a copy of this Life Boat for August. Inclose the name and two cents in stamps to the publishers, 28 Thirty-third Place, Chicago, Ill. We say, Make it five cents.
