AFTER long and persistent negotiations, the sultan has given his consent to the exploration of the ancient ruins on the northeastern shore of the island of Rhodes. A Danish expedition, equipped by the Carlsberger fund, will conduct the explorations. Important archaeological discoveries are expected to be made.
