RESURRECTION MORN.

It was Resurrection Morn At early dawn When Mary sought to sweeten death by precious balm.
It was Resurrection Day— Dawn fled away— Deep grief was turned to joy, weeping to glorious Psalm.
It is Resurrection Eve— Men now believe That Truth and Purity must rise and ever live.
It was Resurrection Morn At early dawn That Pharisee—devil incarnate—rose to die.
It was Resurrection Day— Dawn fled away— Affrighted soldiers took their gold—paid to shield a lie.
It is Resurrection Eve; Men now believe Lie and error shall shred and pass to the close of weave.
This is Resurrection Hour, When all power And faith, love, mercy, truth, and judgment mild, gathered In this Resurrection Age From Holy page, Should resplendent, beneficent shine, honor The Word, That this Resurrection life Pass not in strife So fierce that Angel warning calls are lost unheard.
