Battle Creek Sanitarium Fire

Battle Creek (Mich.) papers that have come to hand since the Sanitarium burned tell us that both Sanitarium and Hospital were a total loss, together with several smaller buildings close by, among them a house belonging to Mrs. Salisbury, a well-known dealer in hygienic clothing for ladies. The insurance was $149,000. Of the more than 300 guests, more than one hundred still prefer to stay, and are accommodated in other buildings owned by the Sanitarium Company. The loss is the least of the important things. The workers remain, and the principles are incombustible. And workers with principles will build again.
