WHAT OUR FRIENDS SAY OF THE SIGNS.

The encouraging words continue to come from readers of the SIGNS. Here is an extract from a letter written from Roanoke, Va., by Hannah Long:—
I have read your good paper, the SIGNS OF THE TIMES, and certainly do enjoy it. I think there never was a paper published to equal the SIGNS. Since reading it, I have been keeping the seventh-day Sabbath, and I truly believe it is the real Sabbath. I have found much more joy in it than I ever did in Sunday.
This message comes from Garrison, Texas, and is written by Mrs. Bettie Chaney:—
Words can not express my love and gratitude for the SIGNS. It comes to our home weekly, and we think it is doing a grand and glorious work in the world. I am thirty-one years of age, and have been a member of the Missionary Baptist Church since I was fourteen; but the SIGNS has given me more light on the Bible than all the preachers I ever listened to.
Mrs. A. C. Bainbridge, San Francisco, Cal., says:—
How often I have wondered, during the isolation of the past few months, if we do really appreciate our heaven-sent SIGNS OF THE TIMES. How good God is to give us such a light-bearer. How good and wise He is to give us workers in its many departments who are ready to be fashioned after the pattern He has designed. If we had nothing else to prove that He is leading this people, we have this.
How graciously He has forgiven our discordant utterances, and how patiently taught us harmony.
My Review I take for my Sabbath morning service, and my SIGNS for afternoon or evening—often for every day; some of its sweet lessons I read over again, to impress the message more deeply on my mind.
Belle W. Orr, Lincoln, Kan., in renewing her subscription has these good words to say:—
I have been trying to get along without the SIGNS, so that I could give more time to other reading; but I see I am not up to date, and I miss the paper more and more every week. I am glad we have such good writers, and that they make things so plain.
Mrs. Anna M. King, Patchogue, L. I., N. Y., speaks thus of the help the SIGNS has been to her:—
Since last June the SIGNS OF THE TIMES and the Review and Herald have been coming to me through the kindness of a devoted worker. I was only acquainted with this dear brother a few months; but in that short time he so clearly explained the present truth as you are teaching it in your publications, that I accepted it as a message from God, and have since been keeping the Sabbath. He was sent away from this place last June, and I did not fully understand the truth; but through your wonderful paper I have been able to learn many beautiful lessons.
Mrs. E. A. Ray, Oxford, Ala., in renewing her subscription, says:—
I do not want to get behind, and I do not feel like doing without the SIGNS if I can help it.
In a note to the editor, E. J. Hibbard, Healdsburg, Cal., thus expresses his good will:—
The Lord bless and prosper the SIGNS in its mission of love; and yourself as the one who, under God, guides its destiny.
