Kern County Oil Pipeline to Point Richmond

DESPAIRING of obtaining reasonable rates on the railway for their oil, the oil men of Kern County, Cal., have completed arrangements for laying a pipe line to Point Richmond, on San Francisco Bay, a distance of nearly 300 miles. Fifteen pumping stations will furnish the power to force the crude oil through the eight-inch pipe.
