Evil Knows No Bounds

The more we concede to evil in any form, the more it demands. It is difficult to check any species of wickedness one day in seven, if it be allowed loose rein the six days previous. A car allowed to run uncontrolled down a steep grade, will not stop suddenly at the foot of the grade, altho the brakes be thrown on at that point. A child that is allowed his own way for six days in the week, will not be very submissive on the seventh day. It is no wonder that the saloon, that has been pampered by the law for six days, will chafe and rebel on being checked the next day. Evil knows no bounds but the bounds of absolute prohibition.
