Leave the Dead Past Behind

Forget the past that is dead, or ought to be. Let it die. Do not resurrect its moldy bones or gloom over its grave. “God is, and all is well” in Him; and what is not in Him, let it die, as die it must and will sooner or later. God is; live from Him, in Him, for Him. Do not stand with sad face to a regrettable past when the great, infinite sea of God’s blessings is breaking at your feet. Gather up the pearls of hope; open the soul and let the light in, and leave the dead past to oblivion.
