The Reason

The Reason.—Whenever we find men railing against God’s law, teaching its abolition, declaring that they are under no obligation to keep it, we may see, verified in them, the truth of the apostle’s words, which also show the reason of their position: “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.” Rom. 8:7. They do not need condemning; the law does that. They need converting.
