Confessing and Forsaking Sin

The confession of sin that involves separation from sin, places the soul on the side of God, and in antagonism to sin. He is where he can realize God’s precious promise, “He that covereth his sins shall ‘not prosper; but whoso confesseth and forsaketh ‘them shall find mercy.”
