KISSING CHILDREN.

MOTHERS should give strict directions to those who have the charge of their children that no promiscuous kissing by strangers is to be allowed. The custom which has grown up for even strangers to kiss young children is most regrettable. Colds in the head, not to mention other more dangerous diseases, are often communicated in this way; and even at the risk of giving offense, it is better for a woman to refuse to allow her child to be kissed by those outside her own household.—Herald of Health.
