Eat Ye That Which Is Good.
Many of our friends and readers are frequently in San Francisco on business, which often detains them over one or two meals, and sometimes for a day or two. Oftentimes they are at a loss to know where to get refreshments, lunch, dinner, etc. They do not like common restaurant fare, and not a few are fruitarians and vegetarians. To all such, yea, to all, we commend the Vegetarian Restaurant, 755 Market Street, south side, between Third and Fourth Streets. There you will get what is good, if you can find room; for it is well patronized. Its name is “Vegetarian Restaurant;” that is, it does not furnish flesh foods, but it does furnish all sorts and varieties of well-cooked, neatly and tastefully and conscientiously prepared dishes of fruits, grains, nuts, and vegetables at a very reasonable rate. Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Fulton are in charge, with an excellent corps of helpers, who will make all welcome. Try it when you are in San Francisco.
