Actresses and Christian Science

According to the New York Journal, many actresses have become “Christian Scientists.” Five different ones write of how they have been healed and benefited. “Christian Science” makes one a better actress; it added several inches to another’s stature; it cured another of hay fever, etc., etc. That is, it—“Christian Science”—enables one to cure herself, reveals to another that nothing that any one does is mean, that the world is full of happiness, that “you can’t do a mean thing yourself.” In the light of Christ’s glory the delusion will vanish, but too late to benefit its dupes.
