What Would Jesus Do?

Prof. Geo. D. Herron, of “applied Christianity” fame, has launched a new sect, who emblazon as their motto, “What would, Jesus do?” Joined with him in Chicago are three former Methodist ministers, who have resigned from their own churches. Now we have no fault to find with the question, if men will seek the right source for information. If it is sought in every man’s, or any man’s, inner consciousness and religio-political theories, we may be sure that we will not have Christ’s mind. The only way to find out what Jesus would do is to learn from the Bible what He did do when here upon the earth. One thing is certain, He was not in politics, either Roman or Jewish. And to-day, even as of old, those who seek to make Him ruler politically will find themselves alone, and that the Master has withdrawn Himself. See John 6:15.
