THOUGHTS

WE are not home yet.
God wants to use you.
Thank God for the Comforter.
We need to be more of “one accord.”
God sends only to those who seek.
God requires us to be a prepared people.
Christ is the light. We are the reflectors.
Sin makes man a cripple. Christ can heal.
Our lives should be daily hymns of thanksgiving.
The reward is for him that endures to the end.
True repentance for sin is shown by turning from it.
It is not the “silent Christian” that is filled with the Holy Ghost.
Some Christians leave their pocketbooks at home when they go to church.
If we would be Christ’s friend, we must say, “No,” to the world.
Where there is strife and jealousy, there can be no power.
“Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, to-day, and forever.” “This same Jesus . . . shall so come.”
Let us not preach so much to bring people to astonishment as to repentance.
The brighter the fire burns within us, the brighter will our light shine out.
If we want to see people converted, we must hold up Christ, not self. C. F. LADD.
