Praying to God, Not to Mother.

The Argonaut tells of a society woman in Washington who stopped in the midst of a fashionable dinner, went to a telephone, and called up the nurse of her children. The nurse brought her boys to the phone, and they said their prayers to the mother over the phone. But it would have been better if the children had been taught to pray to God, not to mother. It is all right for the mother to teach her children to pray, to pray with them, but teach the children to pray to God, and to express in their own words the things they wish to thank God for, or desire Him to grant, as early in life as possible.
