It is vain to tell any one to be unselfish without giving him the power to be unselfish. It is mockery to advise any man to be cheerful without giving him the power to be cheerful. It is only the man who lives a God-centered life, the man who has faith in God, who believes that all God does is done for the best, that all God’s ways with men are right, whether men understand them or not—it is only that man who can look out upon life with a smile.—Rev.
