Nut Foods.

It is good to see the growing interest which is being taken in various nut foods and preparations on the part of the general public. One reason for this is the growing distrust of flesh foods. So many animals are diseased, so many beasts are fattened under all kinds of surroundings save those which are wholesome, so many have been affected of late by ptomain poisoning, nearly always from eating animal foods, that many are looking for some sort of substitute. Well, the perfect substitute is found in nuts, an article of diet usually eaten as dessert, or between meals. From a successful personal experience we advise our readers to use nuts. It will take you a little while to learn to use them; but not as long as it does men to learn to use tobacco. Your trouble will be amply repaid. If you wish particulars, see advertisements in other columns. We can heartily commend them.
