Princeton University

Princeton University has closed the saloon against which the Voice has waged such destructive warfare. It is a shame that it should have ever existed in connection with a religious institution. At the annual election of the senior class, December 14, it is said that the affair was an occasion of a scandalous drunken debauch. It is reported that the students went into the spree deliberately, and previously raised $250 among themselves to pay for the property they proposed to destroy while drunk. This is adding heaven-daring presumption to bestial folly.
