GO ON YOUR MISSION.

By A. R. Wilcox

[Written on the departure of dear friends and relatives to their field of missionary labor in South Africa.]
Go on your mission; Jesus calls To Afric’s bright and sunny shore; Across the ocean’s trackless wave May blessings follow evermore.
And let us hope, as time may roll With swift and changeful course along, That we may meet some glad bright day And join again in happy song.
To leave the dearest friends of earth May add a sorrow to each heart; The welcome day will soon appear When loved and lost will never part.
