TRUST IN GOD.

Father, wilt Thou ever lead me Up the rough and toilsome way? Help me, Lord, to love and trust Thee, That I may not from Thee stray.
Let me feel Thine arms supporting When temptations here assail: Give me, Lord, that blest assurance That Thy love will never fail.
May I trust alone Thy merits, Thou who sittest on Thy throne; O, look down, O Lord, upon me, Make me Thine and Thine alone.
Then within Thine arms of mercy Ever sheltered I may be, Till Thou comest in Thy kingdom; Then, O Lord, remember me.
Mrs. Martha J. Gates.
