Columbia Calendar for 1897.
—This year we believe is the twelfth issue of the Columbia Pad Calendar, with a leaf for each day, containing the day of the week, month, and year, some bright sentiment or bit of information, or a neat little picture. The sentiments of poetry and prose which begin each leaf refer to outdoor life, bicycling, good roads, etc. It also gives the moon’s changes. Upon each leaf is left sufficient space for whatever memoranda the calendar’s possessor may wish to make. It has a neat metal stand, which may be so adjusted as to use on the desk or to hang on the wall. In appearance it is worthy of a place on any desk, and in convenience it is unexcelled. This is the original pad; others are imitations. Send five two-cent stamps to Calendar Department, Pope Manufacturing Company, Hartford, Conn.
