The Sabbath a Memorial.

It is strange that men will dispute the fact that the Sabbath—the seventh day—is a memorial of creation, a sign of the only true God. And yet men will become so blinded as to say: “There is no such thing in the Bible as a memorial of creation. It is all imagination; it is all fancy. There is no hint in the Bible of such a thing.” Thus writes “Thos. Syrus,” of Alexandria, Minn. Others seem to be as fully astray concerning Bible facts. But thus saith the word of God:—
“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work; but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God; in it thou shalt not do any work; . . . for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day; wherefore [for which reason] the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.” Ex. 20:8-11.
“He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered.” Ps. 111:4.
“Thy name, O Lord, endureth forever; and thy memorial, O Lord, throughout all generations.” Ps. 135:13.
What could be plainer than this? There is much more proof.
