"FOR ME."

By Mary C. Wilson

BY MARY C. WILSON.
Can it be it was for me, That I may be free, All I hear of that sweet story, How the Saviour left his glory, Died upon the tree?
Can it be it is for me All the peace of God? Yes, he died that he might give it; I have only to receive it— Pardon through his blood.
Can it be they are for me Promises so dear? Life and joy and every blessing I shall have in him possessing. Sin shall disappear.
Can it be all is for me, All his fullness free? Not one thing is there I merit, Yet he sends his Holy Spirit, Sealing all to me.
