THE HOME COMING.

BY PAULINA M. ALWAY-ANDERSON.
O, THE joy of His dear people At the closing hour of time! He will call them from the ocean, And from every land and clime; From the dark and loathsome dungeon, And from Russia’s exiled shore. Yes, He’ll bid them come and worship Where they’ll meet to part no more.
O, to stand upon Mount Zion With that grand and holy band, Free from every earthly power, Yes, redeemed, united, stand, With the harps of God most glorious, And the palms of victory sweet! We will cast our crowns with gladness At our dear Redeemer’s feet.
O, the lovely voice of Jesus Will be heard above that throng, Speaking peace unto his people— Then the anthems grand roll on! Come unto the marriage supper, For probation now is o’er. I have chosen all my loved ones. Sin and death are now no more.
In those blessed heavenly mansions Joy shall gleam from every brow; They will never faint nor hunger Suffer then as they do now; Jesus will proclaim with triumph, “Yes, for these I bled and died; All my earthly mission ended, I will rest well satisfied.”
