London People's Palace Scheme Bans Intoxicating Liquors

The charity commissioners of London have framed a new scheme for carrying on the People's Palace, and in it there is a promise “that no intoxicating liquors shall be introduced,” and there are to be “free lectures on temperance and thrift.”
