"CHRIST IN SONG HYMNAL"

The New Sabbath-school and Gospel Song Book.

20,000 Already Printed!

THE REASONS WHY:

"Christ in Song Hymnal" is the best book that I have ever seen for Sabbath-schools, church schools, and general religious use. Its 400 pages and 700 numbers include an abundant variety for persons of all ages. In addition to about 350 songs of the grade most popular in the Sabbath-school and gospel meeting, the book contains about 350 of the best standard hymns and tunes, among which are some excellent arrangements of themes from the masters. It is really two books at the price of one, the elements of a church hymnal adding greatly to its value as a collection for the Sabbath-school and the gospel meeting. EDWIN BARNES, A. C. M. (Battle Creek College.)
I have finished a careful examination of "Christ in Song," and am delighted with it. It is the best collection of songs for church, school, and home I have ever seen. It is well arranged, firmly bound, and its cheapness ought to put it into the home of every Seventh-day Adventist, and many others. We shall adopt it at once for Union College, and in a few days send in a large order. W. T. BLAND, Pres. Union College, College View, Neb.
I am pleased to acknowledge the receipt of a beautifully bound copy of your new book, entitled "Christ in Song." Have had time to give it only a hasty examination, but enough to convince me that in this book you have brought together one of the most valuable collections of hymns and tunes that I have ever seen. The standard songs are worth the price of the book, to say nothing of the new pieces. The arrangement is also excellent, and the book is deserving of a wide circulation, which we trust it will have. C. H. JONES, Pres. and Manager Pacific Press Pub. Co., Oakland, Cal.
From such examination as I have been able to give "Christ in Song," it seems to me to be the best general hymn book that we have yet issued; and at a recent meeting of our publishing board it was decided to try to introduce it for general use among our people in this kingdom. W. W. PRESCOTT, Pres. British Conference. 53 Mercer's Road, London, N., England.
Its wearing qualities, inside and outside, are unequaled. It is happily devotional rather than sensational, and for this reason commands itself to all who are aiming at lasting results while working for others in school or field. Medical missionaries can not find a better book as an aid in their work. Bill me nine copies of the 50-cent binding for use in our home. J. H. KELLOGG, M. D.
I do not hesitate to say that the new book, "Christ in Song," is the best singing book, for all kinds of religious services, ever published, being admirably adapted for the Sabbath and prayer meetings, for Sabbath-schools and tent meetings, for missionary meetings, for the old and for the young. The small price brings it within the reach of all. L. A. HOOPES, Sec. S. D. A. Gen. Conf.
The order of "Christ in Song" came to hand in good condition, and we are all pleased with the number and quality of songs, both new and old. BENTON H. COLVER, Ottawa, Kan.
"Christ in Song Hymnal" is convenient in use, neat in appearance, durable in construction, and has the greatest scope and variety of any book for the school which I have thus far examined. Last, but not least, the price is very reasonable. A. E. PLACE, President Atlantic Conf., Brooklyn, N. Y.
I am very highly pleased with the book, both as to the character of the music and the typographical excellence of its make-up. I am glad to find such a large number of old and tried hymns, as well as many new ones of real merit. I shall be glad to recommend this collection of songs on all proper occasions. We are already using the book in our school. C. WALTER IRWIN, Principal Southern Industrial School, Graysville, Tenn.
Will take pleasure in recommending its use in our schools. MRS. WATSON ZIEGLER, Greeley, Colo., Sec. Colorado S. S. Ass'n.
I like the book very much. It seems to me to be the best you ever published. ALBERTA I. LITTLE, Cor. Sec. International S. S. Ass'n.
All who have seen it pass the most favorable criticisms. Although a small book, it contains the choice songs from a large number of books. It seems to contain all the songs we love. E. R. PALMER, Manager Avondale School, Cooranbong, N. S. W., Australia.
I have examined it quite closely, and think it the best collection you have ever published. H. C. BASNEY, Pres. Maine Conference and Tract Society.
It is surely a very fine collection. I hope to use it in my work. LEWIS C. SHEAFE.
We feel very much pleased with the book. As soon as possible we will try to introduce it. W. R. SUTHERLAND, Pres. Walla Walla College, College Place, Wash.
I am highly pleased with the book. G. W. REASER, College Place, Wash., Pres. Upper Columbia Conference.
Though I have not been able to give the full copy a thorough investigation, yet No. 440 has done me enough good to pay the price for several copies. I can recommend the book most heartily to lovers of good sacred music. ALBERT CAREY, Pres. Ohio S. S. Association.
