TRUST IN JESUS.

“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.” Heb. 12: 2.
CHRISTIAN! wherefore yield to sadness? Fix thy heart and hopes above; Look to Jesus—and with gladness, Trust his gracious, pardoning love; Trials here will sorely press thee, Let thy trust on him be stayed. He will cheer, and guide, and bless thee, With his ever-present aid.
Think how kind, how condescending! Jesus calls himself thy “Friend;” From his throne in glory bending, He will every prayer attend. He will never, never leave thee, Through thy pilgrim days below; Then, at last, he will receive thee, And a crown of life bestow. —S. S. Times.
